What's it all about?

After running the farm stay , and people wanting to know more about our ethically run beef cattle farm (and also no hormones or grain fed beef here also)...we realised that there was the potential to sell direct to our customers rather than through conventional methods. We found it was easier on our animals, and very inspiring as we dealt with customers who know who we are and how much we love our farm.
Our system is for people to order our beef via email/phone and then we can deliver to the areas of Maitland,Singleton, Cessnock & Newcastle. We actually get some very satisfied farmstay familes who travel even further to pick up from our butcher! We can understand why people keep coming back... to have blade steak that is just as tender as rump is a testament to the care we put into our animals .
We just love that we get to know the families that want to buy our beef and we even have people who ask to visit the farm and have a jeep tour at a small cost where we explain what we do and how we do it.
Our belief as farmers and educators is that this is where things change for the consumer and the retailer. It is giving us dignity and appreciation for what we do and our customers connect with the farm in a very real way.
